My name is Bryan Parker and I have been studying martial arts since 1984. I started my journey in Shudokan Karate while living abroad in Germany, and I crossed over to Judo and Jujitsu in 1990 when I returned to the United States. Since then I have spent time in many different martial arts to intermediate levels as I have moved around Northern California to follow my professional career and looked for something to catch my interest enough for me to settle down again. I found that something a couple years ago at
Sacramento Kenpo karate and I have been studying Ed Parker American Kenpo as my primary style ever since.
I was first introduced to Kyusho-Jitsu in 1988 and worked with a study group to incorporate the small body of knowledge available at that time into my Karate until 1990. I have dabbled in it over the years since but only recently began to get serious about my studies again since discovering Kyusho International. I was impressed by thier knowledge and practical approach to Kyusho that is vastly different and superior to what was available back when i first started. Because of my excitement and the lack of qualified instructors in California, I decided to start a study group.
